I have been around the world and met a lot of people from all walks of life, all over the world and I have come to a realization, most people simply dream their dreams, very few actually work to turn them into a reality, and a time comes when we lose touch with our dreams or feel that our dreams are impossible and once we do that we resign to fate and start living a life thats just ok instead of one that we might love.

You're right! This is one thing many cultures have in common.
maybe also people could be scared that the dream will not be as good as they dreamed it to be...
Fantastic photo!!!
True pocketcultures, that fear is also there and the fact that once we start going about paying the bills, taking care of housework, the dreams become more distant with time.
Thank you pernille.
In some cultures, children are told they can grow up to have what they dream of. Yet this is not true, and what you say in your post becomes true for many, even most.
This is because dreams are not actions. We must act on our dreams to make them come true.
I love the photo you've chosen to go with this lovely, provocative post.

You've got a point. But maybe we need dreams and once realized they would turn out - not so fantastic?
