International Women's Day

Dedicated to an admirable lady of strength, wisdom, intelligence and beauty who inspires me and effects me in a positive way every passing day.

To all my readers out there a happy "International Women's Day". On this day women around the world rally together inspiring them to reach their full potential. It is understood that women have come a long way in fighting for their rights and place in a society which even to this day in a large part of the world does not accept them as equals. Let us not forget that a lot of issues remain that we have to fight for and continue fighting, especially in the third world countries. Rights of women around the world are suppressed by law, culture, religion and custom. Basic rights that every human being should have for example, right to an education, marital and parental rights, right to free speech, right to own property and in some places even a right to vote have been and are still being denied.

On this Day let us stand together and make every day an international women's day until the rights of every mother, sister and daughter are guaranteed.

Bless your heart D reb. What a beautiful post. Thank you for doing this, and you managed to find a fitting song as well I see? :)

A beautiful dedication as well, bless her too for she is doing a good job on you!

Thank you Shaira, I figured might as well put the song there too. And the lady in question is an inspiration and deserves much more then a dedication.
