My friend....Solitude

“My friend” can bring me close to my soul. This thought was echoing in the head of Suleman while he was sitting in a dark room. The room was filled with many voices, but nothing could be heard. The only sound was of the Longcase clock, which was announcing with every second that time is the most selfish thing and it is never going to stop. Suleman was feeling those words, but had no answer for the time he had wasted all his life. At the age of thirty-two he was still lost in the middle of nowhere. His only accomplishment was that he had learnt lessons from all the mistakes he made in his life. But this accomplishment always used to be short lived, by committing the same mistakes again and again and again. . . . .

. . . . . In order to find out what he was still missing, he wanted to turn the pages of his life, sitting in the dark room. And he was sure that he and his friend “solitude”, together would figure out where in his life he was holding the hand of his soul, without even knowing that he had the gist of his life with him at that moment. . . . .

. . . . .The knock on the door brought Suleman back into the world where he belonged. Firstly he tried to ignore the knock, as he just wanted to be with his friend “solitude”, but a constant knock on the door compelled him to say goodbye to his friend. . . . .

. . . . .His own world was much more beautiful. This was last thing Suleman thought before he locked his door and went for his work.

i think everyone feels the same way at least once every two days.

i mean right now i am doing the same thing

"mein aur meri tanhai aksar yeh baatein karti hai

agar humari team consistant hota to kaisa hota, agar hum ek kay bad ek match jeet jate to kaisa hota

batsmen runs banaate, bowlers wickets leete aur fielders fielding karte.

mein aur meri tanhai aksar yeh baatein karti hai"

on a more serious note this is exactly how i feel a lot but i guess its natural(if not lemme know)

Our short story writer? Following the footsteps of Raymond Chandler and JC Oates?

I loved the intro.
