SATRIBUNE says Good Bye

After 3 years of stirring quite an outrage in the Pakistani Government and pro pakistani sectors Mr. Shaheen Sehbai the self exiled journalist who has been publishing "the south Asia Tribune" a renegade newspaper exposing and creating anti pakistani establishment stories has decided to call it quits. In a story published today the 17th of October titled "final words from the south asia tribune" he states that he feels he has achived his goals and he wants to quit while at the top. He hopes that someone else will carry on his mission. He also states that hes not shutting down the newspaper due to pressure or some kind of a deal with the government, but just retiring. That leaves a lot of questions in the readers minds. He also intends to completely dissapear from the scene and remove all published stories although if you want to save something the newspaper will be online till the first.

Although I myself was not a very big fan of Mr. Sehbai due to his habit of sensationalizing most stories and creating an even bleaker picture of the state of affairs of Pakistan then the origional. I wish him the best of luck in his future endevour and sincerely hope that someone wil try to take the place of SATRIBUNE so we can get some exposing stories about our Leaders, i would also hope that the one taking Mr. Sehbai's place is more news oriented rather then sensationalizing like a tabloid.

For years i have been reading STARIBUNE; sadly I shall miss the daring journalism of Mr Sehbai. For those who believe it to be sensationalism, please spend some time in Pakistan. But Please keep your eyes open and don't bury your head in the sand. After styding in the UK, I have spent considerable time in Pakistan. I have seen with my own eyes what these Plundering ,Politicians, Bureaucrats, Mullahs, Pirs, Zamindars and oh yes lets not forget THE GENERALS; have done to our Country.
Anyway I would like to wish Mr Sehbai all the best; and Thanks for exposing these SAD B******s.
